But in that case, you can always download the standalone version and mod that one, in which case these instructions ought to work.Īnyway, some of the folders might be hidden, so you'll want to show hidden files and folders under Folder Options if that's the issue. It also might be slightly different if you're using the Steam version, when I think about it.
My little disclaimer is that while I own a Windows computer, I'm not using it for DDLC or mods.
Okay, let's see if I remember how to do this. Hopefully you'll enjoy your second trip through the mod as much as your first-wait a minute. The big one is "persistent", which is what stores data of important moments without you actually saving things.īest of luck finding what you need. Once you find it, you can just delete all the files inside, and your save data will be reset. I'll wager you're on Windows, so you'll want to look at Users\AppData\Roaming\RenPy or something in that vain for the New Eyes folder. On a Mac, I can find my games' saved data under Users//Library/Renpy, and it's pretty obvious which folder is for New Eyes. It looks like this mod doesn't use the traditional "firstrun" file method of letting you reset, but it can be done manually. It was a weird feeling jumping between acts, but I'm guessing you don't have a super-early save file handy. I noticed when I played that when Act 2 began, I could actually load save files from Act 1 and it would work. Posting an unsolvable mess as an ARG will be treated as both spam AND an attempt to avoid punishment for spam. Using an ARG to sidestep one of the other rules will be treated as both a violation of that rule AND an attempt to avoid punishment for said rule. Regarding ARG-style Posts: ARG posts must have a plain English title that refers to the mod it is related to, and there should not be a post related to said ARG more than once every three days (additional information can be made as a comment on the latest post). LP posts without the title of the mod come across as spam, and will therefore be removed. This community is about promoting the work of mod creators, not the Youtube or Twitch channels of the people playing the mods. "Let's Play" video posts must include the title of the mod in the subject line.
Please note that simply endorsing one of these mods is not, by itself, grounds for a ban but repeated/specific efforts to skirt this rule and/or subvert it will not be looked upon fondly. Discussion of banned mods is still allowed, as long as it doesn't include providing links or requesting links to the mods, posting videos of the mods being played, or otherwise suggesting people play them.
Do not endorse or share any mods listed in the "Important Notice" section at the top of the Mod List. (Assuming you have permission.) This includes art used in the thumbnails of "Let's Play" videos.ĭo not share mods that have been banned. Credit the original artist when not created by the OP. We know that everyone's excited, but "I LOVE DDLC+" posts, while amusing, are counterproductive to the subreddit's goals.Īrtwork posted or used in mods must not belong to another artist, or the OP must have prior permission to use the artwork by the artist. Addendum: We will be keeping an eye on DDLC+ posts that are unrelated to modding. Posts not related to modding are better suited for /r/DDLC. Posts must be related to modding DDLC, and artwork posted must be related to (or tease) a mod that the OP is working on. For comment spoilers, put: >!Just Monika!< and get Just Monika. Tag mod spoilers AND DDLC+ spoilers (for now) in posts or comments.
